Atrav\u00e9s desse conhecimento s\u00e3o constru\u00eddos sensores, detectores, micro eletr\u00f4nicos e optoeletr\u00f4nicos que t\u00eam por objetivo testar teorias avan\u00e7adas. O CBPF disp\u00f5e de corpo de profissionais capacitados no desenvolvimento de ferramentas como placas de processamento que ocupem pequenos volumes, materiais sintetizados em laborat\u00f3rio que possuam alto poder refletor de luz, sensores a laser que precisam captar pequenas mudan\u00e7as de luminosidade em longas dist\u00e2ncias, dentre outros. Todas estas inven\u00e7\u00f5es t\u00eam potencial de aplicabilidade no mercado. O CBPF desenvolve uma s\u00e9rie de equipamentos para realizar seus experimentos, al\u00e9m de materiais como supercondutores, fundamentais para o desenvolvimento da computa\u00e7\u00e3o qu\u00e2ntica.
