e pol\u00edmeros t\u00eam sido fundamentais para o avan\u00e7o da tecnologia em diversos setores, como a ind\u00fastria automotiva, aeroespacial, de constru\u00e7\u00e3o civil e de embalagens. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Como exemplo, o CETEM e o INT desenvolvem estudos utilizando res\u00edduos de rochas ornamentais para a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de materiais polim\u00e9ricos resistentes, leves, dur\u00e1veis e sustent\u00e1veis.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Outra linha de pesquisa se concentra\u00a0 na melhoria de materiais destinados \u00e0 constru\u00e7\u00e3o civil, como o refino e purifica\u00e7\u00e3o de argamassas, que al\u00e9m de baixar custos, aumenta a durabilidade e a seguran\u00e7a das constru\u00e7\u00f5es. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Al\u00e9m disso, a demanda por materiais e pol\u00edmeros mais eficientes e ambientalmente amig\u00e1veis continua crescendo, criando novas oportunidades de neg\u00f3cio.
